Prime Minister Asserts Commitment to Revitalize Real Estate Sector

Phnom Penh, April 11, 2024 – Prime Minister Hun Manet has voiced confidence in the recovery of Cambodia's real estate sector, citing the government's dedication to fostering investment. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Kiri Sour Dairy Farm in Takeo Province, he emphasized the government's active role in addressing the populace's concerns and developing policies aimed at societal benefit.

"The government is actively working to entice more investment into real estate, aiming to provide modern and affordable housing options," stated the Prime Minister. He reassured the public of the government's relentless efforts to support the sector during challenging times, encouraging continuous cooperation with the private sector.

Highlighting the strategic vision for enhancing living standards, the Prime Minister elaborated, "We are committed to empowering our citizens. Whether they are families without homes or individuals striving for a better life, our goal is to ensure they have access to employment opportunities, steadily increasing wages, and the ability to make secure investments in housing."

This push towards real estate development is part of a broader strategy to elevate Cambodians from poverty to middle class, ensuring a sustainable solution for housing needs.
